Psalm 56:7 My heart is confident in you, O God;

   my heart is confident.

   No wonder I can sing your praises!

Ever feel like the world's against you? Nothing's going right and even your    go-to people have let you down. David wrote Psalm 57, a transparent heart cry to God followed by confident praise, as he hid in a cave from a man who should have honored his faithfulness. David was at risk of losing his life and faced with temptation to handle things his way. How do you react during seasons of isolation and temptation?

David being described as "a man after God's own heart" is not to be taken lightly. Like us, he failed God many times but his consistent praise meant everything to Our Father. Like he did in Psalm 57, God desires our unfiltered, honest prayers, which should always maintain a nature of worship to Him.

No matter your season or trial, God's call of worship over your life is unchanging. We must press forward always glorifying Jesus- hill or valley! And while at times our circumstances may lead us to feel unworthy or hypocritical as we come before His presence, remember; It is NEVER hypocritical to agree with The Truth.
